Professional Negligence Claims

We receive a lot of calls from people who are unhappy with their solicitors and want to know if there is anything we can do. Sometimes it is not too late and we can take the matter over and get it back on the rails. At other times it is just too late, the damage has been done, and there is nothing we can do to turn the clock back.

In those circumstances we are often asked to take a case against the previous solicitor in professional negligence. If we are satisfied that such a step is justified then we are prepared to act against other solicitors who have been negligent.

However such cases are quite involved and never easy. Again this makes it so important that you see a specialist firm. Indeed very often the problem only arises because the original solicitor wasn’t a specialist in the field or didn’t have sufficient experience.

Claims against other solicitors are not the only professional negligence cases that we take on. In appropriate cases we will consider claims against other professionals including doctors and financial advisers. Here again though such cases are not easy and the evidence necessary to give you a reasonable chance of success can be difficult to obtain.
